Cabo always makes a great destination. More American than the rest of Mexico but nonetheless has enough Mexican flavour to feel like a real holiday. I was reminded of this place the other day when our friend Tanya asked me where she and her family could go on a hot holiday this winter. It's on the Pacific side so the bonus is it's more remote (which we like) and more understated than some of the big huge hotels downtown. The downside is you can rarely swim in the beach (which is sad as it's so beautiful) as the Pacific side is very rough and sometimes dangerous. Rooms are really generous (we had a two bedroom suite that was very nice). Their huevos rancheros are still on my crave list. Image courtesy Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach.
